Description
River Market Community Co-op is seeking an individual who is looking for a new opportunity to expand their current growth with a strong, hard-working team of cooperators. We are a 45-year-old retail food cooperative in Stillwater, MN with a long history of community involvement, robust connections with local food producers, and a rocking staff.
The Digital Marketing Generalist will create and maintain a positive store image internally and externally through effective and accurate communications which attract customers and promote sales.
As a member of the River Market Community Co-op team, you will own, implement and measure automated marketing campaigns, cultivate leads, increase traffic to our website and social media sites that lead to increased sales, as well as increased owner and community engagement.
YOU'RE GOOD AT
- Creating and executing email campaigns
- Expanding our brand footprint while enhancing our presence in the community
- Continuously evolving and updating our website
- Researching and implementing content recommendations for organic SEO success
- Researching and proposing new marketing opportunities
- Coordinating River Market’s educational programs in our community
- Composing and coordinating press releases as needed
YOU BRING
- Computer proficiency in: MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word), Adobe Suite, Mailchimp, HTML, CSS, Social Media Schedulers (Hootsuite)
- Verifiable certification in relevant skill set areas
- Three years of experience in the communications/marketing arena or equivalent education
- Demonstrated production creativity and attention to detail
- Deep understanding of effective social media content creation

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be customer service oriented
- Able to multi-task, perform repeated bending, standing and reaching, and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs
- Proficient in basic arithmetic including counting, addition and subtraction
- Computer proficiency in: MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word), Adobe Suite, Mailchimp, HTML, CSS, Social Media Schedulers (Hootsuite)
- Maintain a valid driver’s license
