Your Role as an Office Manager
Administrative Support: Assist with office operations, including correspondence, paperwork, and general clerical tasks.
Recruitment & Onboarding Assistance: Support hiring activities, coordinate background checks, verify credentials, and help facilitate new hire orientation.
Employee & Payroll Support: Assist employees with payroll issues, track attendance records, and ensure corrections are made before payroll processing.
Records & Compliance Management: Maintain personnel files, HRIS records, and ensure compliance with training documentation and credential renewals.
Office & Facility Coordination: Manage office supplies, coordinate vendor services, and assist with facility maintenance requests.
Safety & Regulatory Assistance: Help with safety inspections, work-related injury reports, and compliance with labor laws and company policies.
Training & Reporting: Support employee training sessions, track attendance, and compile reports as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Two years of general office experience
- Valid Virginia Drivers License
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff.
- Active listening and emotional intelligence to support students’ needs.
- Ability to foster a positive, professional school environment with patience and adaptability.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and communication.
