Job Title: Player Service Representative
As a Player Service Representative at Rivers Casino Pittsburgh, you'll be at the forefront of delivering exceptional guest service across multiple casino areas, including the Cage, Rush Rewards, Promotions, PBX, and Gift Shop. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and a positive experience for our valued guests. Your responsibilities will range from managing Rush Rewards Club cards and promotions to handling monetary transactions and addressing guest inquiries and concerns.
Responsibilities:
- Enroll and reprint Rush Rewards Club cards, and effectively explain benefits and promotions to guests.
- Provide exemplary guest service while strictly adhering to established department and property policies and procedures.
- Maintain the confidentiality of guest/player information and communicate sensitive information only to appropriate department and division heads.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the casino, its operational hours, restaurants, amenities, and proactively respond to guest queries.
- Contribute to the excitement on the casino floor during bus arrivals, special events, promotions, check-ins, and drawings.
- Distribute, redeem, and verify promotional items with enthusiasm, adhering to specific promotion guidelines.
- Verify the accuracy of guest contact information, including phone numbers and email addresses, and update as necessary.
- Report guest service issues, payout discrepancies, variances, or any irregularities to supervisors immediately.
- Facilitate sports wagering ticket redemption and provide assistance with various monetary transactions such as sales, check cashing, and chip redemption.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with guests and team members.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including holidays, and the ability to handle the stress associated with a fast-paced casino environment.
- Capability to withstand casino-related environmental factors, such as second-hand smoke and loud noises.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and tools, and ability to learn and retain knowledge of procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Strong numerical aptitude and ability to perform basic arithmetic functions without a calculator.
- Ability to manage point-of-sale systems, handle cash, and conduct financial transactions accurately and swiftly.
- Successful completion of the pre-employment process.
Certifications:
- Must be able to obtain a Pennsylvania Gaming License. Rivers Casino will assist in the application process and pays the fee associated with this license.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing
- Bending, stretching, twisting, reaching, push/pull up to 25 pounds frequently
