Riverside Country Club seeks an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Golf Shop Merchandiser/Buyer to join our team part-time. This position plays a vital role in providing a world-class retail experience for our members by curating high-quality merchandise, executing strategic sales promotions, and ensuring a well-organized and visually appealing golf shop.
Position Details:
- Part-time position with flexible hours ranging from approximately 16-28 hours per week.
- Start date as early as March 24.
- Competitive pay: $18 - $24 per hour, plus performance-based incentives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Golf Professional in developing and executing an efficient and profitable merchandising plan.
- Purchase golf merchandise, including apparel and equipment, in alignment with club standards and member preferences.
- Stay current on fashion trends and golf industry product developments to make informed buying decisions.
- Monitor merchandise trends and ensure optimal stock levels to maximize sales and profit margins.
- Support the creation and execution of golf shop marketing and promotional strategies.
- Organize and maintain merchandise displays to enhance the shopping experience.
- Process purchase orders, receive shipments, and assist with special orders for members.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring members find products that suit their tastes, needs, and lifestyles.
