Riverside Pediatric Medical Day Care is dedicated to providing specialized care and education for young children with medical and developmental needs. Our program offers a nurturing environment that fosters the growth of children in both educational and therapeutic settings.
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Early Childhood Education Aide (Special Needs) to join our team. The ideal candidate will work with children who require skilled nursing, creating a positive and engaging atmosphere that fosters learning, growth, and emotional development.
This position is full time working 7a-3 : 30pm.
Key Responsibilities :
- Create and maintain a warm, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and emotional well-being.
- Establish and maintain classroom structure, ensuring a consistent routine for children.
- Lead and assist with circle time activities, encouraging social interaction and participation.
- Provide support during mealtime and nap time, ensuring the children’s needs are met with care and attention.
- Follow and implement the provided curriculum, adapting to the unique needs of each child.
- Assist with behavior management strategies and implement individualized goals as directed by the lead teacher and therapists.
- Maintain clear communication with parents and team members regarding the child’s progress and needs.
- Support and collaborate with other staff members, including therapists and medical personnel.
