Key Responsibilities:
Promote the Facility: Represent Riverside Health and Rehabilitation Center throughout the local community, sharing our commitment to excellent care and service.
Develop Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with referral sources, including hospitals, doctors, and community organizations, to increase admissions and facility awareness.
Work with Leadership: Collaborate with the Regional Director, Director of Nursing, and Administrator on referrals and strategic initiatives to meet the facility's goals.
Manage Admissions Process: Coordinate the admissions process for referred residents, ensuring a seamless transition and timely entry into the facility.
Knowledge of Reimbursement: Stay informed about Medicare, Medicaid, Private Pay, and Third-Party reimbursement to ensure accurate information is communicated to referral sources and residents.
Resident Experience: Be the first point of contact for new residents, ensuring a warm welcome and assisting with the assignment of their care team.
Ongoing Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with residents, hospitals, doctors, and facility staff, ensuring ongoing support and communication throughout the admission process and beyond.
Qualifications:
2 years of experience in healthcare, specifically in the long-term care industry, is preferred.
Marketing experience is a plus.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with referral sources, residents, families, and staff.
Existing contacts within the healthcare community and referral sources is a significant advantage.
Passionate about building relationships and creating positive experiences for new residents.
