- Prioritize and coordinate all work activities for co-workers across multiple work centers.
- Coordinate production startups, shutdowns, and changeovers.
- Communicate needs and statuses between areas of the production floor.
- Monitor performance of co-workers and provide feedback to managers.
- Identify training opportunities/requirements and recommend training.
- Train, mentor, and encourage co-worker growth and engagement.
- Manage, review, and edit timecards for co-workers.
- Complete shift paperwork.
- Use Epicor to complete required material movements and research.
- Identify, improve, and/or report pick errors, process issues, and quality concerns.
- Read basic work instructions to determine materials staging and preparation methods.
- Proactively identify shortages prior to late delivery.
- Utilize time management skills to manage work load efficiently.
- Lead or assist with lean activities such as 5S audits, Gemba walks, Kaizen Projects, Time Studies, and Standard Work implementation.
Salary Range
">$20.00 - $24.00 per hour.
">Required Skills and Qualifications

- Understanding of manufacturing instructions, work instructions/procedures/forms, inspection data, part drawings, and work order data.
- Able to manage time efficiently without direct supervision.
- Ability to learn and adhere to health and safety regulations and LEAN manufacturing.
- Willingsness and ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and overtime.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, procedures, machinery, materials, tools, and methods.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
- Knowledge of MRP/MRPII and Epicor software's.
