Overview
As a Nurse Manager, you will lead a dynamic team of nursing professionals, ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents while fostering a positive and productive work environment. You will play a key role in staff management, budget oversight, and interdisciplinary collaboration. This is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive, growth-focused setting.
This position is eligible for a sign on bonus of up to $5,500 and relocation assistance of up to $5,000!
What You’ll Do
- Lead with Excellence: Schedule and supervise nursing staff, monitor performance, and manage employee relations to cultivate a cohesive and high-performing team.
- Drive Quality Care: Maintain and enhance the comprehensive care plan through collaboration with rehabilitation, social services, dietary, pharmacy, and other disciplines.
- Ensure Compliance: Oversee adherence to facility policies, procedures, and regulatory standards, promoting safety and minimizing healthcare-related injuries.
- Foster Staff Development: Facilitate onboarding, orientation, and continuous supervision to ensure all nursing staff perform at their best.
- Respond to Needs: Provide hands-on resident care as needed, including administering medications in the absence of regular staff.
- Stay Connected: Carry and respond as scheduled throughout the month
- Champion Improvement: Implement and manage quality assurance initiatives to evaluate and elevate operations and services.
Qualifications

Education:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Required).
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (Preferred).

Experience:
- 2 years as an RN or LPN (Required).
- 2 years in a supervisory role (Preferred).

Licenses & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license from the VA Department of Health Professions (Required upon hire).
