Job Summary :
As an RCDD Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical design and engineering activities for all structured cabling, technology rooms, raised floor areas, backbone / risers, and lateral distribution systems. The RCDD Engineer is considered a subject matter expert in their field and is expected to stay current with various technologies, maintain industry certifications, support organizational goals and industry trends to drive value. Due to the nature of work this role entails, telecommuting is not allowed and will require the employee to report full-time onsite.
What You’ll Be Doing :
- Project implementation and validation services in terms of cable infrastructure support for all infrastructure technologies, services and projects.
- Estimates and scope development, design, design and bid documents, bid analysis, develop and administer RFPs, field surveys and validation of as-built drawings.
- Ensure all cabling designs adhere to relevant industry standards and building codes.
- This position will interface directly with internal and external customers / suppliers as well as internal network and engineering teams, product / project management, data center, storage, and operations teams.
