Description
Job Summary
Serves as a guide through the Orientation process, presents curriculum and assists in training for driver candidates participating in the orientation process for multiple classes per week.
Essential job duties include:
- Sign/check drivers into orientation.
- Collect the FMCSA & DOT required paperwork at hire and compile the Driver Qualification (DQ) file.
- Working with drivers to collect all items needed prior to completion of the qualification process.
- Conducting/introducing training and on-boarding modules.
- Scheduling DOT Physical and drug screenings for pre-employment purposes
- Being available for phone calls from our driving partners.
- Assist with travel needs.
- Shuttling the individuals in class to/from the hotel and terminal.
- Various projects as needed.
Education:
HS diploma or equivalent required.
\Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- High school or equivalent
- Must be detail orientated.
- Must have strong time management skills.
- Training, Orientation & Safety: 1 year (Preferred not required)
