Landscape Foreman
Rivertown Landscapes in Rockford, MI is one of West Michigan’s premier landscape design/build companies. Projects include Hardscape and Softscape applications including Landscape Plantings with large trees and shrubs, Outdoor Living Spaces, Water Features, Pools, Patios & Pathways, Retaining Walls, and more. Duties: Manage personnel effectively and efficiently and be punctual and dependable.
Communicate and coordinate with the designers and project coordinator daily for accurate completion of installations.
Train and promote the development of all team members with best practices of installation and company standards.
Monitor tools, equipment and machinery under your care for needed maintenance, repairs and or replacement.
Track and record all job materials and labor accurately.
Ability to complete projects within specifications and budgeted times while maintaining clean and safe job sites.
Qualifications: 3 years experience.
CDL Class A Drivers license with air brakes and a clean driving record.
Proficient with operating Bobcat skid steer loaders, Dingo loaders and 5 ton trucks with trailer.
Extensive knowledge and experience in installing a variety of Hardscape and Softscape applications.
Knowledge of trees, shrubs, evergreens, and perennials.
Motivated, self driven individual who is detail orientated while working in a fun & fast paced environment.
Strong verbal & written communication skills. You must be able to communicate with your crew and clients effectively and professionally!
Good time management skills with the ability to work longer days during the week. With the exception of snowplowing, our work is mainly during the week and we try not to work on the weekends.
Benefits: Paid PTO/vacation (after 90 days), company cell phone, complete uniform including outer wear.
Paid holidays (after 90 days) 5 days, (after 3 years) 10 days, (after 5 years) 15 days.
IRA match up to 3% of total compensation.
Medical health insurance stipend (monthly).
Company cell phone and complete uniform including outerwear.
Compensation package depends on qualifications and experience and ranges from $45,000 to $65,000.
