Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in the food industry. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in our kitchen and ensuring smooth operations.
Schedule:
Must be available nights and weekends- Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Duties:
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing area
- Sort and stack clean dishes for easy access by kitchen staff
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed
- Empty trash containers regularly
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment at all times
- Follow proper food safety and handling procedures
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Dishwasher in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic kitchen equipment and utensils
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with the kitchen staff
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is a plus
