Dining Room Supervisor
RiverWoods Exeter is currently seeking a Full Time Dining Room Supervisor to join our team in Exeter! The Dining Room Supervisor oversees all front of the house aspects of daily operations during, maintains good working relationships with our residents, outside guests, members of leadership, other department staff, the culinary team, and their own direct reports. This role is responsible for supervisory oversight of servers, hosts and bussers and has several administrative responsibilities to support both the dining rooms, residents, Dining Room Manager, and the Director. This is a full time position working Tuesday to Saturday 10:30am-7:30pm

Responsibilities
- Supervises and coordinates the activities of dining room and café/bistro personnel.
- Provides and models exceptional customer service and hospitality to every resident, guest and team member with a positive attitude, professionalism and commitment to teamwork.
- Oversees and supports all aspects of day-to-day dining room and café/bistro operations; including to-go meals and delivery.
- Coordinates/runs daily pre-meal meetings with FOH staff to review menu, points of service, and resident updates.
- Keeps neat and orderly dining areas by means of assigning and supervising the following: daily cleaning tasks, deep cleaning projects, scheduling quarterly carpet cleanings, daily vacuuming duties, placing work orders as needed, assisting with kitchen cleanliness, etc.
- Circulates in all dining areas during meal periods to field resident/guest comments pertaining to service and food quality. Immediately attempts to correct problems in these areas to ensure customer satisfaction. Offers compensation for unsatisfactory food or service when needed and within reason.
- Works to receive feedback on and improve any service-related issues.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years experience waited service experience
- Previous supervisory or management experience preferred
- Serve Safe Certified, preferred
