Riverworks Marketing is a team of good people helping businesses succeed! Headquartered in Chattanooga, TN, we design and build websites, manage digital advertising campaigns, design print advertising, perform market research, brand businesses, and have proven experience in logo design, search engine optimization (SEO), blogging, email newsletters, and much more! We are looking for a friendly, detail oriented, and creative individual to fill the role of Marketing Account Manager.
This position will execute projects and marketing strategies, manage accounts, and grow strong relationships with our customers. Effective project management and communications skills are necessary, along with internal motivation to see your customers and our agency succeed. We want someone who will bring positive energy, passion, and enthusiasm to the position. Client responsiveness is essential, and we value people who are driven, creative and equate their customer’s success with their own.
Job Duties
- Develop a working knowledge of the customer business and the key variables that produce success
- Communicate with clients to effectively build, enhance, and execute their marketing strategies
- Create, assign, and manage projects and tasks necessary to execute the marketing campaigns that make up the strategy for each customer
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate digital and print marketing efforts in support of overall client goals
- Ensure client satisfaction through the development of quality marketing campaigns and strategies
- Lead the charge on executing high-quality and on-budget production of websites, newsletters, digital advertising, SEO, blogs, print ads, and all other forms of message delivery
- Measure and report performance of marketing campaigns and assess against goal
- Advocate for your client's interests, and ensure high-quality and detailed work comes out of our agency
- Educate and inform clients as each phase of campaign execution is underway, gaining client approval throughout the process
- Strategize with the creative team on behalf of your account and your team members' accounts to ensure fresh, relevant, and out-of-the-box marketing campaigns
- Continually grow existing and new business for the agency
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, or a similar field– or equivalent experience directly applicable to this position
- 2-4 years of sales, customer service, account management or project management experience
- Ability to build relationships with clients and work well with other team members
- Demonstrated ability to offer strategic marketing insight across interactive and digital media platforms
- Ability to meet deadlines, manage your time and establish priorities
- Proficiency in Excel and Google Workspace
- Comfortable operating in various CRM/PMS softwares
- 1 or 2 in-office work days each week, with remote work available most other days

The Marketing Account Manager position requires residency in or relocation to Chattanooga, Tenn. Our organization is mostly remote but does require 1 or 2 days of in-office work each week.
