Develop Electrical Vehicle Products
In this role, you will be responsible for developing electrical vehicle products directly related to high voltage and low voltage electronics from concept to production launch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work in a fast-paced environment to develop various on-vehicle power electronics components and overall packaging from concepts to production launch.
- Lead cross-functional team discussions of the power electronics development in terms of mechanical packaging including production manufacturing.
- Collaborate with electrical engineering teams to improve PCBA mechanical design and packaging.
- Work with component suppliers for component development, including DFM executions.
- Manage component and assembly design releases working with PLM teams through Enovia.
- Address mechanical design issues by providing root cause analysis and corrective resolutions.
- Support product production launches and host weekly meetings with component suppliers and other cross-functional teams.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and develop engineering plans.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 6 years of professional work experience in high voltage automotive power electronics product development.
- Technical knowledge and manufacturing process experience in power device cooling and thermal management.
- CATIA CAD tool experience.
- Automotive supplier managing experience.
- Knowledge or experience with sheet metal stamping, casting, wiring harness, and plastic injection molding processes.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple challenging projects simultaneously.
- Problem-solving capabilities and willingness to drive resolution of product technical challenges.
- Positive and proactive attitude.
