Responsibilities
Event Planning:
Salary Range for New York Based Applicants: $94,000 to $118,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
Salary Range for California Based Applicants: $87,000 to $109,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
Salary Range for Atlanta, GA Based Applicants: $79,000 to $99,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
Benefits Summary: Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time and part-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Full Time Employee coverage is effective on the first day of employment. Part-Time employee coverage is effective the first of the month following 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities
Event Planning:
- Collaboratively develop event briefs that align with program objectives
- Serve as liaison with venues, suppliers, and partners connected to event
- Setup budget codes and vendor onboarding documents as needed
- Manage project timelines and resource allocations
- Develop all event documentation including ROS, SRM creation, Splash creation, tracking needs, staffing plan and contact sheet
- Coordinate with internal cross-functional stakeholders on project deliverables
- Ensure all event elements are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
- Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges.
- Oversee all aspects of event logistics, including vehicle and demo drive routing, staffing, event communications (internal and external), and on-site event management.
- Oversee the setup and breakdown of event infrastructure, including driving courses, display areas, and hospitality zones.
- Solve problems and overcome challenges with creativity and ingenuity.
- Ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.
- Operate in a remote setting, traveling to lead and support a variety of customer facing events and activations
- Gather and analyze participant feedback and event data.
- Prepare comprehensive post-event reports, including ROI analysis and recommendations for future event in a timely manner as identified by the team
- Present findings to internal stakeholders
- Participate in quarterly and annual business reviews and event planning sessions to optimize feedback and learnings.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, event management, communications, or a related field.
- 7 years of experience in event production, with a focus on ride & drives, tours or automotive events.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and delivering exceptional results.
- Strong understanding of automotive or related industries.
- Excellent project management, organizational, and time management skills.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer experience skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. You are a natural connector.
- Possess an entrepreneurial mindset and take a resourceful approach to projects
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and passion for frequent travel up to 70% of the time
