Responsibilities of a Line Cook
- Prepare food according to instructions from the Chef and comply with standard procedures.
- Set up and organize the station according to fine dining standards.
- Restock and maintain station supplies throughout the shift, ensuring readiness and efficiency.
- Uphold exceptional safety, sanitation, and organizational practices, maintaining a clean and orderly workstation.
Culinary Expertise and Communication
Skillfully prepare a variety of dishes, including meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and cold items, with an emphasis on French culinary techniques. Proficiency in communicating effectively in both English and Spanish is required. A college degree or Culinary school degree is preferred but not necessary.
