Rivyve Behavioral Health is a 90 bed Behavioral Health Residential Facility (BHRF) located in Bullhead City, AZ, which provides substance abuse and mental health services for adults over the age of 18. We are an evidenced based program treating the whole person (mind, body and spirit). We understand each of our resident’s needs is unique and our goal, regardless of the program setting, is to assist each individual with long-term sobriety and mental health stability and awareness. We deliver services in partnership with government agencies, hospital systems and health plans.
Job Description
The Admissions/Intake person understands the importance of "first impressions" and strives for the best when welcoming clients, family members and guest to the facility. The Admissions/Intake will perform and or oversees the processes of initial assessments, benefit verification and initial pre-certification. Adult behavioral health experience required. Experience with SalesForce or other CRM is preferred. Experience and knowledge of insurance verification and pre-certification is preferred.
Primary Responsibilities
· Assesses referrals for appropriateness of placement within Rivyve.
· Coordinates prospective resident and family admissions.
· Reviews past information to assess history and identifies presenting problems.
· Tracks all open beds and discharged members within Rivyve residential facility.
· Handles all inquiries via email or telephonically for all new admissions.
· Works with Adminstrative Director and Clinical Director to ensure state file is in compliance with all intake documentations
· Ensure all current updated policies are added to intakes and all intakes are completed by end of business day daily.
· Plans and organizers open beds with Clinical Director.
· Sends out open bed announcements on as needed basis.
· Completes intake searches and UA at admission.
- Perform posting charges and completion of claims to payers in a timely fashion
- Submit billing data to insurance providers
- Work claims and claim denials to ensure maximum reimbursement for services provided
- Perform reviews and audits for both Medicaid, commercial plans and other payer sources
- Implement, maintain and report on programs initiated by the practice
· Coordinates with Medical Director to ensure all follow up appointments are made for member’s medications.
Statement of Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
· Oversees admission process.
· Ensures that all licensure information is provided prior to intake.
· Reviews information with RPM and Director of Residential Services prior to intake.
· Maintains documentation of intake per licensure standards.
· Serves as the liaison with POs, parents, case managers and Rivyve personnel.
Conditions of Employment
· CPR/ First Aid Certified
· Successful candidate must submit to a TB test, or provide a copy of your latest test results in the last 12 months, and Urine analysis.
· Must possess a level one Fingerprint Clearance Card (application must be submitted within 20 days of employment)
· If in recovery, must have a minimum of one-year sobriety prior to application.
· Drivers must have a clean 36-month vehicle record check
Working Conditions
· May be subject to call back and irregular schedules.
· Involves occasional to frequent moderate lifting of 25 to 50 pounds.
· Safety-sensitive position pursuant to A.R.S. 23-493
· Is subject to exposure to infectious waste, diseases, and conditions, including TB, HIV, AIDS, and Hepatitis B and C viruses.
· May be subject to the handling of and exposure to hazardous chemicals.
· Communicates with the Medical Director, nursing personnel, and other department personnel staff and heads.
Education and Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree(preferred) in social services
- Six (6) months experience in behavioral health, preferably residential treatment and /or High school Diploma with 2 years’ experience in behavioral Health or in admin role in a BH facility.
· Obtain/maintain Arizona Department of Public Safety Fingerprint Card at employee’s expense.
· Obtain/maintain CPR Certification.
· Complete annual Tuberculosis Testing.
· Complete required in-service training
