RJ Kielty is in search of an experience HVAC Pre-construction Estimator.
The HVAC pre-construction estimator will be responsible for analyzing blueprints and project specifications to accurately calculate the cost of an upcoming HVAC system installation, including labor, materials, and equipment, by creating detailed estimates and bids before construction begins, often collaborating with sales teams and project managers to ensure project feasibility and profitability.
- The successful candidate will be experienced in the use of Wrightsoft (preferred) or similar type software.
- Preferred 5 years’ experience in HVAC Pre-construction Estimating.
- Candidate will need to be familiar with the current Florida energy and mechanical codes.
This is an hourly position, pay is negotiable based on experience.
Day to day functions will include:
- Thoroughly review blueprints
- Calculate material and labor costs
- Perform quantity takeoff
- Factor required profit margins into pricing
