The HVAC Sales and Comfort Advisor is responsible for assessing customer needs and offering tailored HVAC solutions to improve comfort and efficiency. Duties include conducting on-site consultations, performing system evaluations, and providing cost estimates for installation, repair, or maintenance services. The advisor also presents and sells HVAC products, educates customers on energy-efficient options, and builds long-term relationships to drive sales and customer satisfaction. Strong communication and technical knowledge are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect and identify potential customers in both residential and commercial sectors.
- Develop and present HVAC solutions based on the specific needs and requirements of clients.
- Conduct in-depth product demonstrations and explain the benefits of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair services.
- Prepare and deliver accurate and competitive sales quotes and proposals.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.
- Follow up on leads and inquiries to close sales and achieve revenue targets.
- Assist customers with any product questions or concerns, providing guidance and expert advice.
- Stay up to date on the latest HVAC industry trends, products, and technologies.
- Work closely with the installation and service teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and transactions using CRM software.
- Attend sales meetings and training sessions to improve product knowledge and sales skills.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in HVAC sales or a related field.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, including residential and commercial solutions.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to assess customer needs and propose tailored solutions.
- Self-motivated with a strong drive to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build long-term relationships.
- Familiarity with ServiceTitan software (or similar type) and sales tracking tools.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Employment contingent upon the sucessful completion of a background check
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience in outside sales, preferably in the HVAC or construction industry.
- Knowledge of energy-efficient and eco-friendly HVAC solutions.
- Ability to read blueprints or technical documents related to HVAC installations.
