Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in steel fabrication industry or equivalent, with a focus on quality control and assurance. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting material receipt, in-process, and final inspections in accordance with standard and project-specific inspection and test plans.
- Recording results from quality control inspections and tests.
- Reviewing documentation, including shop drawings, project specifications, codes, personnel qualifications, process control procedures, and subcontractor quality control records.
- Assisting the Quality Control Manager with department administrative tasks.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:
- A minimum of (2) years of experience in the steel fabrication industry or equivalent.
- Weld inspection experience preferred.
- AWS QC1 certification is desirable.
