Our Team:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Control Inspector to join our team. As a Quality Control Inspector at RJ Watson, Inc, you will be responsible for ensuring that all materials and products meet our high standards of quality and excellence. Your duties will include:
- Inspecting incoming raw materials, primarily steel, to ensure they conform to our purchasing requirements.
- Checking sub-assemblies coming from our network of outsourced service providers to verify that the work was done in accordance with our agreement.
- Conducting material receipt, in-process, and final inspections in accordance with standard and project-specific inspection and test plans.
- Recording results from quality control inspections and tests.
- Reviewing documentation, including shop drawings, project specifications, codes, personnel qualifications, process control procedures, and subcontractor quality control records.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
- (2) years of experience in the steel fabrication industry or equivalent.
- Weld inspection experience preferred.
- AWS QC1 certification is desirable.
