Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to manage our company’s financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, proficiency in accounting software, and a keen eye for accuracy. This role is essential in ensuring the company’s financial transactions are recorded and reconciled correctly.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations. - Process invoices, receipts, payments, and payroll transactions accurately and in a timely manner. - Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information. - Prepare financial reports, such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements. - Monitor budgets and expenses, ensuring compliance with company policies and financial regulations. - Assist with tax preparation and financial audits by providing necessary documentation and reports. - Ensure compliance with all applicable financial laws and regulations. - Support the finance team with additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role. Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles, financial statements, and accounting procedures. - Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. - Ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality. - Strong organizational and time-management skills.
