The Chevrolet Shop Dispatcher at RK Auto is responsible for managing and coordinating all service requests and dispatching technicians to ensure timely completion of work orders. Responsibilities:
- Receive and process service requests from service advisors and internal staff
- Assign technicians to work orders based on their availability and expertise
- Monitor and track the progress of work orders to ensure on-time completion
- Coordinate with parts department to ensure required materials are available for service jobs
- Communicate with service advisors regarding estimated completion times and any delays
- 3 years Dealership experience in service dispatch or similar role
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of automotive industry and basic vehicle operations
- Experienced technicians are a plus. If you can still turn hours while also dispatching, the opportunities are bigger.
