Seeking qualified and experienced candidates. Will be responsible for ensuring safe efficient, and proper operation of various pieces of heavy equipment. Must be dedicated, willing to learn and wanting to build a career while achieving the highest level of safety standards.

    • Roles & Responsibilities

  • Operates computerized control panel to produce hot mix, warm mix, and / or cold mix asphalt to specification. Works inside enclosed control house to oversee processes
  • supervises plant emploees, production and distribution of product
  • Communicates with driver via radio
  • Troubleshoots and communicates problems with ground crew
  • Assists with machine maintenance and repairs
  • Coordinates material deliveries including AC and aggregates
  • Understands and implements Safety, Health and Environmental policies and regulations
  • Works with QC / QA Lab personnel to ensure that mix is produced to job specifications

    • Ability, Skills & Knowledge

  • High School Graduate or equivalent
  • Previous hot mix and cold mix asphalt production experience
  • Must have the ability to interpret and apply verbal and / or written instruction
  • Must have good depth perception to operate machine controls
