Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Optometry professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of ocular health and patient care, ensuring that patients receive the highest quality of service. This role requires a blend of clinical expertise, attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and provide them with the best possible care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess vision and diagnose ocular conditions.
• Provide appropriate treatment plans and recommendations based on examination findings.
• Educate patients on eye health, vision correction options, and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Assist in the fitting and dispensing of eyewear, including lenses and frames.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Stay updated on advancements in optometry practices and technologies.
• Adhere to aseptic techniques during all procedures to maintain patient safety.

Experience

• Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and ophthalmology is essential.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, medical coding, and record management is preferred.
• Previous experience in patient care or sales within a healthcare setting is highly desirable.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and compliance.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
• Ability to demonstrate aseptic techniques in clinical practice.
