Our client, a leading custom equipment manufacturer specializing in robotic and automated air blast resurfacing systems, is seeking a Product Manager of Automaton Equipment to join their growing team in Langhorne PA!
In this role, you'll serve as a critical link between sales and engineering, ensuring the seamless development of custom automation equipment tailored to client needs. You'll work closely with both teams to review AutoCAD drawings, provide technical recommendations, ensure accurate quoting, and help align product feasibility with customer expectations. While you won’t be responsible for designing, your mechanical aptitude and understanding of industrial automation and electrical components will be key to driving successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the product lifecycle of custom automation equipment, from customer concept requests to final implementation.
- Provide technical support to sales, helping to align customer wish lists with practical, manufacturable solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize product performance, pricing, and profitability.
- Ensure quotes align with project scope and feasibility, collaborating closely with sales and engineering teams.
- Support industrial sales quoting, ensuring accurate and competitive pricing.
- Act as the product liaison between sales and engineering, ensuring customer requirements are accurately translated into technical solutions.
- Review AutoCAD drawings, assess feasibility, and provide recommendations for design improvements.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, and operations, to drive successful project execution.
Requirements:
- 1 - 2 years of product experience in automation, robotics, or custom machinery manufacturing
- Must have a strong technical understanding of electromechanical equipment.
- Must have ability to review AutoCAD drawings and provide technical recommendations.
- Strong understanding of industrial sales quoting and cost analysis.
- Experience working cross-functionally with sales and engineering teams to develop custom solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to assess product feasibility and ensure realistic customer expectations.
- Prior experience with product lifecycle management, including product enhancements and pricing strategies, is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate across departments effectively.
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred.
Salary: 70,000 - 80,000
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8a-5pm (flexible start time)
Location: Langhorne, PA (Onsite)
