RLE International USA is seeking several exterior engineers for exciting roles located on-site at our customer in Southfield, MI.
**Job Summary:**
The Exterior Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing exterior components and systems for various products. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the final product meets design, quality, and performance standards.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in exterior component design and development.
- Proficiency in CATIA software and other engineering tools.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials used in exterior components.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
**Responsibilities:**
- Design and develop exterior components and systems for products based on project requirements.
- Conduct feasibility studies and analysis to ensure designs meet performance and cost targets.
- Collaborate with internal teams to integrate exterior designs with overall product architecture.
- Work with suppliers to select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes.
- Conduct testing and validation of exterior components to ensure quality and reliability.
- Provide technical support during the manufacturing and assembly of exterior components.
- Stay current with industry trends and technologies related to exterior engineering.
