As the Senior Seat Engineer Design Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and development of seating systems for various types of vehicles. You will lead a team of engineers in creating innovative and ergonomic seat designs that meet safety, comfort, and performance requirements.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Masters degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience in seat design and development within the automotive industry
- Strong knowledge of CATIA software and design principles
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage projects from concept to production
**Responsibilities:**
- Lead a team of engineers in designing seating systems for vehicles
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seat designs meet project requirements
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for new seat design concepts
- Oversee prototype development and testing to validate design concepts
- Track project milestones and ensure deliverables are met on time and within budget
