Job Summary
Reverse Logistics Group (RLG) is seeking an entry level Compliance Coordinator to support our US extended producer responsibility compliance activities for national and global brand manufacturers.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain familiarity with complex US environmental regulations related, but not limited to packaging, electronics, and battery extended producer responsibility and recycling
- Manage deadlines related to regulatory compliance document submissions on behalf of our customers
- Analyze legislation, regulations and product and sales information in order to prepare forms and summary reports
- Assist team to effectively manage communication and engage with customers, regulatory agencies and producer responsibility organizations
- Support team sales activities including but not limited to CRM data entry
- Follow processes for customer account management, new customer onboarding and compliance activities
- Facilitate database and systems management projects for customer related tasks
- Research trends in extended producer responsibility and circular solutions
- Practice effective communication, escalation & incident management in a timely and proactive manner
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, sustainability, or related field
- Well-developed communication, interpersonal and critical thinking skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized and self-motivated
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Effective working in a team environment and independently
- Excellent writing skills and ability to understand laws and regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Interest in extended producer responsibility, circular economy, environmental compliance
