Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in an outpatient setting, focusing on internal medicine and behavioral health.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments and provide appropriate treatment plans
- Perform specimen collection processing and diagnostic procedures
- Utilize medical terminology effectively in patient interactions and documentation
- Triage patients based on their needs and urgency
- Administer gastric lavage and dermal fillers as required
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Athenahealth or similar EMR systems
Experience
- Previous experience in internal medicine, behavioral health, or a related field is preferred
- Proficiency in specimen collection processing and medical terminology
- Familiarity with outpatient care practices
- Strong background in triage and patient assessment
- Experience working as a nurse practitioner with the ability to handle diverse patient needs
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100.00 - $103.00 per hour
