Position Overview: The Mechanical Project Coordinator at RLP Mechanical is a key team member responsible for ensuring the seamless planning, execution, and tracking of mechanical contracting projects. This role demands strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience in project coordination, preferably within the commercial construction or mechanical industries.

Key Responsibilities for the Mechanical Project Coordinator position include:
- Plan, schedule, and track project milestones and deliverables in collaboration with Project Managers.
- Update and maintain project schedules, documentation, and status reports.
- Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure efficient project workflows.
Administrative Support:
- Organize and manage project files, including contracts, permits, and correspondence.
- Schedule and facilitate meetings, site visits, and conference calls as required.
- Assist with the preparation of proposals, change orders, and client presentations.
Communication:
- Act as a central point of contact for project-related communications between teams, clients, and stakeholders.
- Provide timely updates to Project Managers regarding progress, challenges, and critical issues.
- Draft and distribute meeting minutes, progress reports, and other documentation.
Financial Tracking:
- Support budget monitoring by tracking expenses, processing invoices, and managing change orders.
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records for projects.
- Contribute to cost variance analysis and budget adjustments as needed.
Problem-Solving:
- Identify and address project-related challenges proactively.
- Collaborate with project teams to develop solutions that maintain project timelines and quality standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications for the Mechanical Project Coordinator position include:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. An associate or bachelor’s degree in construction management, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in commercial project coordination, preferably in the construction, HVAC, or mechanical contracting industry.
- Skills:
