What are the responsibilities and job description for the DCAA Contract Auditing position at RM Advisory Services?
Job Description
The selected candidates will support financial audits of government contractors including incurred costs audits, forward pricing audits, indirect rate reviews, and accounting system reviews. The work responsibilities are varied and will include testing of internal controls, risk assessments, substantive testing, aggregation of audit results, and preparation of audit reports in accordance with Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (Yellowbook). The positions provide excellent experience for staff wanting to gain professional audit and consulting experience within Big Four CPA firms.
Positions are available for entry-level staff, as well as senior auditors / audit managers with 4-7 years of experience performing financial statement audits and DCAA contractor audits.
Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or Greencard holders. Staff located in the Washington, DC metro area are highly preferred.
Required Skills
- 4 year Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or business management
- History of strong academic achievement
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong desire to work in public accounting and Big Four audit
- licensed as a CPA or is enrolled / passed at least some parts of the CPA examination process is desired.
