Payroll, HR, and Accounts Payable / Accounting Specialist

This position requires an experienced Payroll, Human Resource, and Accounts Payable Processor along with various Accounting Specialist duties. The position will also process Payroll and HR functions for a sister company Carr Textile.

About the Position
Payroll and Human Resource Processing Responsibilities:
The Payroll Processor is responsible for processing the bi-weekly payroll for two companies on two different payroll systems (Optimum and Macola). The payroll consists of hourly, incentive pay systems and salaried employees. Duties include:
· Process bi-weekly payroll for 150 employees
· Audit time sheets for hours worked, overtime hours, and ETO
· Pay all taxes and payroll distributions
· Maintain all Payroll deductions, garnishments, and pay rates. Complete new hire onboarding with key fobs, logins, time cards, information packets, company policies, and gathering withholding information, etc.
· Enroll and Maintain Medical/Dental/Vision/401K enrollments
· Audit insurance related HR benefit bills
· Oversee and manage Workers Comp Claims
· Maintain OSHA logs
· Print W2 and year end tax forms
· Oversee all aspects of FMLA
· Complete verification of employment requests
· Administer off boarding of employees including Cobra benefits
· Calculate Bonus and Commission Incentives
· Calculate and Audit Employee travel expenses
· Research and resolve all payroll-related questions, concerns, and problems
· Maintain Human Resources records by recording new hires, transfers, terminations, work anniversaries, addressing any changes and updates, and tracking specific required information.
· Document Human Resources actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
· Support Operations in new worker Recruitment by posting job openings; screening candidates, and updating the weekly job opening report.
Accounts Payable Processing Responsibilities:
· Verify Receipt to Purchase Order
· Reconcile variations between PO and Invoice.
· Process Voucher/Check Payment/Wires to Vendors
· Audit small package and LTL freight bills
Accounting Specialist / Bookkeeping Responsibilities:
· Assist with general accounting tasks, such as account reconciliations and journal entries.
- Complete bank reconciliations
· Support month-end. quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
· Contribute to financial analysis and reporting efforts.
· Other various accounting duties as needed and cross training with other team members
About You:
Prior Payroll/HR, AP, and Accounting experience is required. Ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced and multi-tasking environment. Process-oriented, driven, and detail minded. Strong ability to communicate with different members of our team. Qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or a related field.
- Prior experience in payroll processing, HR, accounts payable, or staff accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certification (e.g., CPP, PHR, CPA).
- Experience with HRIS and payroll software.
- Knowledge of financial reporting and analysis.
Pay is dependent on experience and skillset.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
