We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with physicians and provide patient care in various clinical procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist physicians with procedures including IUIs, ultrasounds, biopsies, post-op exams, and more.
  • Document patient information and procedures accurately in our system.
  • Obtain and process specimens using aseptic techniques.
  • Escort and comfort patients, answering questions within your scope.
  • Restock supplies, maintain equipment, and clean clinical areas.
  • Adhere to infection-control policies and ensure a safe work environment.
  • Participate in training new team members and support cross-functional tasks.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and late shifts as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent, completion of a Certified Medical Assistant program (state certification preferred).
  • At least 6 months of experience in a physician practice preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and office procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Ability to handle sensitive patient information confidentially.
  • Availability to work at multiple locations as needed.
