Job Overview :
We are seeking a dynamic, creative, and highly organized Event Production Intern to join our team. This role is responsible for creating, planning, and overseeing a variety of engaging activities and events for resort guests. The Event Production Intern will assist in all aspects of event production, from concept to execution, ensuring that all events and activities run smoothly and exceed guest expectations. This position requires a blend of creativity, leadership, and exceptional organizational skills.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute a diverse range of engaging, exciting, and memorable activities for guests of all ages, including social events, games, sports, and themed parties.
- Assist in the production of on-property events such as holiday celebrations, poolside parties, fitness activities, kids' programs, and special themed nights.
- Coordinate with other departments (Sales and Marketing, Maintenance, Guest Services) to ensure seamless event execution.
- Collaborate on all logistical aspects of event planning, including event design, staffing, equipment rental, vendor coordination, timelines, and budgeting.
- Provide leadership, direction, and motivation to ensure high-quality service during events and activities.
- Act as a point of contact for event planning, ensuring clear communication between staff, guests, and management.
- Maintain a calendar of weekly / monthly activities and events, ensuring a balanced and engaging schedule for guests.
- Engage with guests before, during, and after activities to ensure their satisfaction and gather feedback for future improvements.
- Assist in the creation of marketing materials (such as flyers, schedules, and social media posts) to promote events and activities to guests.
- Maintain cost control and adherence to financial guidelines.
- Ensure that all activities and events meet safety standards and comply with company policies.
- Foster a fun, inclusive, and high-energy environment for guests and staff alike.
- Troubleshoot issues and resolve challenges quickly to maintain high guest satisfaction levels.
- Collaborate with external vendors, entertainers, and performers to enhance event offerings.
- Participate in the recruitment and training of seasonal or part-time staff members as needed.
