Description:
A challenging role as a Field Technician is available with our client, who provides a supportive work environment with opportunities to learn on the job. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering, installing, moving and changing end users' computer equipment and peripherals, including laptops, desktops, monitors and host components.
The ideal candidate will have a moderate amount of physical activity in a warehouse environment, requiring the ability to understand and follow simple to moderately complex processes and work instructions. This is not a desk-based role and may involve working in dusty conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow simple to moderately complex work instructions
- Use a handheld barcode scanner for inventory management
- Perform shipping and receiving tasks
- Demonstrate attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in work
- Perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving equipment
- Operate a pallet jack, forklift (after training and certification), electric cart and tricycle (when applicable)
