Position Overview: The Program Manager’s primary responsibilities include assistance in managing supported living services, specifically the delivery of services and ensuring that the environments in which those services are delivered meet health and safety standards. Provides management and supervision of Lead Support Associates (Lead DSP) and Support Associates (DSP).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitors the key supporting elements of service delivery, such as scheduling, staff training and support, and service location monitoring.
- Provides good stewardship by managing resources effectively, such as limiting the use of overtime, manages staff absences effectively, etc.
- Maintains quality staff through site monitoring, including site visits, staff training, and staff performance evaluations.
- Conducts routine meetings with Lead Support Associates to understand and address any issues occurring on the caseload.
- Provides after-hour on-call support for staffing or client emergencies.
Position Requirements: Associates or Bachelor’s degree in a human service field and two (2) years of management/supervisory experience in the provision of services to individuals with developmental disabilities or related social service field, OR five (5) years of management/supervisory experience in the provision of services to individuals with developmental disabilities or related field.

- Positive leader with ability to select, hire, train, manage, and retain staff. Experience with managing and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision with diverse populations.
- Ability to problem solve while dealing with complex situations.
- Ability to maintain composure and professionalism when dealing with sensitive or confidential information.
- Understanding of rules and guidelines that regulate the provision of services to individuals with disabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, such as Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.
- Current valid driver’s license and compliance with Ohio liability insurance coverage standards.
