Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HR Specialist to join our team. The HR professional will be responsible for managing various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and performance management. This role is crucial in fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring HR policies align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Source, screen, and interview candidates for open positions.
- Coordinate onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.
Employee Relations & Engagement:
- Address employee concerns and promote a positive work environment.
- Implement initiatives to improve employee engagement and retention.
HR Compliance & Policies:
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
Performance Management:
- Support managers in conducting performance reviews and setting employee goals.
- Develop strategies for talent development and succession planning.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Administer employee benefits programs and payroll processing.
- Research and recommend competitive salary structures.
Training & Development:
- Identify training needs and coordinate learning programs.
- Conduct HR-related training sessions as needed.
HR Data & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate HR records and prepare reports on HR metrics.
- Use HR software to manage employee information and analytics.
Workers’ Compensation Management:
- Manage workers' compensation claims from filing to resolution.
- Coordinate with insurance carriers, medical providers, and employees regarding claims.
- Ensure timely reporting and documentation of workplace injuries.
- Facilitate return-to-work programs and accommodations.
OSHA Compliance & Workplace Safety:
- Ensure company compliance with OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards.
- Develop, implement, and update safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and workplace inspections.
- Organize and facilitate safety training programs for employees.
- Maintain OSHA logs and reports, ensuring timely submission of required documentation.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Bilingual in Spanish.
- 2-3 years of HR experience, preferably inManufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, SPHR).

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
