About the Opportunity:
RNDC New York is seeking a highly skilled Regional Sales Representative to join our team in the Upstate New York region. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting our premium wines and spirits within your assigned territory, achieving sales targets, and building strong relationships with retail and restaurant accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve sales targets by consistently meeting and exceeding sales goals within the designated territory.
- BUILD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS with retail and restaurant accounts, demonstrating a passion for cultivating and nurturing these relationships.
- DELIVER EFFECTIVE PRODUCT PRESENTATIONS to customers, showcasing the unique features of our brands and closing sales successfully.
- MERCHANDISING EXCELLENCE: Support accounts in optimizing product sell-through by overseeing pricing, shelf positioning, and enhancing the overall visual appeal of our products in stores.
- TERRITORY MANAGEMENT: Handle administrative tasks and territory management responsibilities efficiently to ensure seamless operations.
- PROMOTIONAL ACTIVITIES: Organize and conduct weekly in-store shopper tastings to actively promote and sell our products.
Requirements:
- One to two years of related experience and/or training.
- Bachelor's Degree (BA) preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid driver's license mandatory, with acceptable to good driving record.
- Must be able to lift, push, and/or pull up to 40 pounds.
- Must live in sales territory β Albany, Rensselaer, Columbia, Dutchess, Greene.
- Self-starter with strong communication, interpersonal skills with excellent customer relations skills.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
