Sales Representative for Wines and Spirits
As a Sales Representative, you will play a vital role in showcasing and promoting our premium wines and spirits within an assigned territory. Your primary focus will be on retail and restaurant accounts, where you will strategically manage product positioning, pricing, and displays to maximize sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve Sales Targets: Consistently meet and exceed sales targets within the designated territory, which includes Erie, Niagara, Genesee, and Orleans counties.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate and nurture relationships with both retail and restaurant accounts, demonstrating a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Effective Presentations: Deliver compelling product presentations to customers, highlighting the unique features of our brands and closing sales successfully.
- Maintenance and Merchandising: Support accounts in optimizing product sell-through by overseeing pricing, shelf positioning, and enhancing the overall visual appeal of our products in stores.
- Territory Management: Efficiently handle administrative tasks and territory management responsibilities to ensure seamless operations.
- Promotional Activities: Organize and conduct weekly in-store shopper tastings to actively promote and sell our products.
Requirements:
- One to two years of related experience and/or training.
- Bachelor's Degree (BA) preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid driver's license mandatory, with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to lift, push, and/or pull up to 40 pounds.
- Must reside within the sales territory, which includes Erie, Niagara, Genesee, and Orleans counties.
- Self-starter with strong communication, interpersonal skills, and excellent customer relations skills.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
