LPN - Flagstaff VA

Ro Health is looking for a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team at a Veterans Home in Arizona! This position ensures a safe, therapeutic, and hygienic environment while overseeing and assigning duties to subordinate staff.

• 6pm-6:30am
• per diem/full-time needed

Qualifications

• at least 6 months of LPN experience required but 1 year is preferred
• Ability to supervise and train subordinate staff in a healthcare setting.
• Experience with AMS or similar management systems is a plus.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, resident-focused care
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a variety of nursing care for geriatric residents, supervising and training subordinate staff in specific resident care procedures.
• Observe and report resident behavior and physical condition, administering medical treatments and interventions according to the care plan.
• Serve as a lead or perform limited supervision during shifts, assigning duties to other Geriatric LPNs and Certified Nursing Assistants when acting as the charge nurse.
• Work under the supervision of an RN or physician.
• Learn and implement Arizona Management System (AMS) methods for problem-solving and process improvements.
• Incorporate a Veteran/Member-centered approach in the performance of all job duties.
