Pit & Quarry Supplies – Inside Sales Coordinator – Aftermarket Parts

Road Machinery & Supplies Co. (RMS) is a distributor of Heavy Construction Equipment. Our growth has created an opportunity for the right candidate to join our team as an Inside Sales Coordinator – Aftermarket Parts. This role will be responsible for helping drive increased revenue through marketing and sales activities for parts and service company- wide and will serve as the sales coordinator for RMS & Pit & Quarry Supplies Product Support Sales Representatives (PSSR). This individual will be responsible for sourcing parts, preparing quotes, invoicing sales, and warehouse duties including but not limited to shipping and receiving, stocking shelves, picking orders, arranging shipping, and maintaining inventory accuracy to achieve the company’s aftermarket and related sales growth objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Warehouse Manager, PSSR’s and other RMS employees.
• Coordinate and support growth in parts and service sales.
• Look up, source, price, quote, and invoice parts.
• Research parts solutions for customers – OEM and aftermarket solutions
• Utilize company, vendor, and industry resources to constantly grow knowledge of equipment and applicable parts.
• Create and receive vendor purchase orders.
• Shipping and receiving parts for both new orders and returns.
• Stocking shelves and assisting with inventory accuracy.
• General warehouse duties including heavy rubber industrial belt handling and splicing.
• Operating forklift and various power tools safely.
• Assisting the Parts Department as needed.
• Actively support various special projects.
• Act as first-point of contact for customers on phone systems.
• Other responsibilities as defined by management may also be assigned.
  
  

Qualifications/Skills:

• Computer skills and the ability to use multiple software programs to perform daily tasks.
• Experience with parts sales – construction equipment parts experience is a plus but not required.
• Able to work responsibly, safely, and intelligently.
• Have the desire to take action, improve, and be appreciative.
• Possess the capability to engage with customers, co-workers, and vendors in a respectful manner.
