We are family owned and operated and are seeking a PART TIME, dynamic individual, ready to show us creativity and versatility through social media marketing for our Restaurant! You'll be using your skills to develop videos, pictures, and showcasing the restaurants abilities in culinary and atmosphere.
Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in enhancing our online presence and engaging with our audience across various social media platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of social media management, graphic design, and content creation, along with the ability to analyze trends and implement effective strategies.
Duties
- Develop and execute social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Create, curate, and manage published content (images, video, written) across social platforms.
- Utilize tools such as Hootsuite for scheduling and monitoring posts.
- Conduct research on current trends and audience preferences to inform content creation.
- Engage with followers through comments, messages, and social listening to foster community relations.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media campaigns with overall marketing goals.
- Proofread all content before publication to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Analyze performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Assist in graphic design projects for social media posts and promotional materials.
- Capture high-quality photographs and videos for use on social media platforms.
Requirements
- Proven experience in social media management or a related field.
- Proficiency in using Hootsuite or similar social media management tools.
- Strong graphic design skills with experience in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
- Familiarity with photography techniques for creating engaging visual content.
- Excellent research skills to stay updated on industry trends and audience behavior.
- Strong proofreading abilities to ensure high-quality content delivery.
- Basic video editing skills for creating compelling video content.
- Knowledge of e-commerce principles is a plus, as well as SEO best practices.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
