Road Warrior Mobile Fleet Service is looking to hire a Parts Runner/ Shop Assistant to maintain cleanliness of our repair facilities, shop, restrooms, break areas, and office. This role will also include picking up and delivering parts and vehicles to the shop, or back to vendors and customers. At times there will be several trips back and forth to Indianapolis.
The ideal candidate must be punctual, motivated, and willing to learn and develop their skills. Must also be detail-oriented, honest, and carry out tasks safely and professionally. The Parts Runner/Shop Assistant's primary function will be to keep shop clean and orderly and pick up and deliver parts safely and promptly to field mechanics and maintenance shops. We are looking for someone willing to work hard and doesn't mind getting dirty. This role could also evolve into being a mechanic's apprentice for the right motivated candidate.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness of our repair facilities, shop, restrooms, break areas, and office.
- Operate company and customer’s vehicles.
- Pick up and deliver parts and supplies from vendors and between Road Warrior locations.
- Assist in keeping the maintenance yard in order and clean.
- Document work performed on checklist and turn paperwork/receipts into management daily.
- Assist coworkers when needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid Driver's License
- Must have clean MVR.
- Ability to lift 50lbs
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
