Job Description Summary: As a Jr. Business Process Analyst, you will develop and translate business requirements and processes into actionable plans for execution by IT teams to improve business outcomes. You are the link between business and IT with responsibilities for clear communication of system requirements between teams. You also will participate in the testing of the designed solutions and will work with business teams to implement designed solutions in the field. Critical Job Functions: Meeting with the business to understand requirements for IT services and business processes. Providing overall process and systems analysis and design support. Clarifying change requests with the business to ensure there is enough information to initiate the change request. Documenting business requirements, swim lanes and process workflows. Reviewing and clarifying business requirements via joint meetings with the business, development teams, and project manager. Conducting gap analysis to identify the compatibility between the legacy system and the new business requirements. Executing functional tests and evaluating results to ensure accuracy and quality of complex system changes. Providing training and operational support. Providing demos to the end users as required. Job Requirements: At least 2-5 years of experience with business analysis or requirements definition in a trucking, logistics, or supply chain related business. Experience with Microsoft DevOps, Atlassian Jira, or similar project tracking software. Understand and utilize the capabilities of key technologies (SQL Server, Webservices, Mobile Applications, Cloud Capabilities and Excel) and can utilize those technologies to analyze business process and software. Curious mind with a never-ending drive to improve user experience through software and process improvements. Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as presentation and facilitation skills. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
