The engineer will help lead change using a process oriented, data driven, and customer focused approach. Utilize data to uncover insights that increase efficiency, reduce mileage, reduce costs, and increase customer service. Apply rigorous logic and proven Engineering principles to achieve the project’s objectives. Aggressively search for opportunities to continuously improve operational execution and profitability. Work with stakeholders, users, leadership, and IT to inform and develop tools. Create performance reporting to identify opportunities to control costs and meet operational and service objectives. Identify and remove barriers that slow or prevent the successful attainment of process improvement that will lead to cost reduction and competitive advantage. Job Requirements: Excel Guru with Access/SQL proficiency. Excellent data navigation, interpretation, and quantitative analysis skills. Recent grad (last 3 years) with bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Data Science or similar. Experience with continuous improvement and process management principals. Demonstrate ability to deal with complexity and communicate effectively. Ability to travel as business needs. Location: Preferred location near Downers Grove, IL or Milwaukee, WI with travel to Roadrunner locations as needed.
