Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting cocktails, serving beverages, and ensuring an exceptional experience for patrons in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately while providing excellent customer service.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and garnishes; assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and local regulations regarding alcohol service.
- Engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere; provide recommendations based on preferences.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure timely service of food and drinks.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and efficiently.
Skills
- Proficiency in cash handling and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Experience with Aloha POS system is a plus but not required.
- Strong bartending skills with knowledge of cocktail recipes and drink preparation techniques.
- Ability to thrive in a nightclub or fine dining environment, adapting to varying levels of customer traffic.
- Knowledge of food safety practices to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
- Experience in banquet settings is beneficial but not mandatory.
