Data Analyst, Procurement Job Description and Mission:
The Procurement Data Analyst is a dual role that is 60% data analysis and 40% procurement driven by data insights. This role is key to data-driven initiatives for the group, acting vital between raw data and actionable insights. This position dissects datasets, identifies patterns, and leverages those insights to drive business growth. The role requires technical expertise to extract value from data and collaborate this with internal and external stakeholders. You will then leverage data to determine where to spend time developing partnerships used to assist our customers.
Responsibilities
- Provide actionable analytics reporting, analysis, and recommendations for various product lines
- Develop and create analytics dashboards with tools such as Adobe Analytics, Tableau, and Excel
- Perform deep dives and segmentation analysis from various data sources and tools
- Work with various teams, including sales, account management, and operations
- Lead towing and roadside assistance procurement activities using data
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines
Key Outcomes:
Advanced analytics: Develop and deploy advanced analytical models to improve our understanding of Network supply and demand, identify operational inefficiencies, and deliver actionable recommendations to leadership
Performance monitoring: Implement real-time dashboards and reporting to track and assess Network performance against established metrics
Stakeholder feedback analysis: Analyze feedback, ratings, and reviews from multiple sources and stakeholders to gain insights into service quality, customer satisfaction, and provider satisfaction, identifying actionable insights for improvement
Service provider insights: Develop operational and performance data to generate actionable insights and recommendations for 3rd party service providers, enabling them to enhance their service delivery, optimize processes, and align more closely with organizational objectives
Capacity analysis and modeling: Analyze the capacity of our Network, identifying gaps, weaknesses, and opportunities to improve operational efficiency and service quality, making recommendations for Network recruiting, retention, and optimization
Smart procurement: Develop and lead a dynamic partnership model that is based on real-time data and growth patterns
Requirements
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience in relevant field
- 3 - 5 years of business and data analysis experience
- Experience with Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Tableau
- Advanced Excel skills
- Knowledge and use of statistics, statistical modeling, database management, data interpretation, and/or data science is a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and must also be a logical thinker with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively to high-level executives and relevant stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills and business acumen
