Job Summary: Assists special education teachers with paperwork and clerical duties such as creating written notices, phone calls, scheduling appointments and scanning documents. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Complete parent letters and contacts from special education teachers. File special education documents in student files. Scan documents into electric IEP system. Prepare forms for special education teachers. Copy and file progress reports each 4 1/2 weeks. Generate documents within the electronic IEP system. Generate, copy and distribute forms to general education teachers. Maintain special education files, keeping all information organized. Qualifications: High School Diploma Word Processing Skills Communication Skills Organization Skills Ability to travel between schools during the school day. Must satisfactorily complete pre-employment background check and drug screening.
